            <text>This study explores how employee satisfaction with performance appraisals affects their work performance. Using a bibliometric approach, we analyzed research articles from Scopus to find patterns, key topics, and influential studies in this area. The results show four main themes: the role of workplace environment and mental health, the impact of stress, the influence of demographics and relationships at work, and the importance of leadership and feedback. Most studies are from healthcare and education sectors. The findings highlight the need for fair, supportive, and clear appraisal systems to improve employee motivation and performance. This research also points out gaps and suggests ways to improve future appraisal systems in various work settings.</text>
